Greetings,

 

Even though the weather doesn’t feel like Spring, Spring busy-ness is here at BCS! Spring is a time for the Arts at BCS. We had our Talent Show on February 22^nd and it was wonderful to see all of the talent God has blessed us with in our students. We are looking ahead to Streetlamp Production’s Peter Pan on March 17^th at 5:00pm and to the Fine Arts Gala and Open House on April 20^th from 6:00-8:00pm. If you have ever wanted to know what is going on at BCS, please come to the Gala. You will see our band perform, the 3^rd grade recorders play a few songs, our private music and vocal lesson students perform, an art display, and some students creating live art during the event. The whole school will be open for classroom visitations and the teachers will be on-hand to answer any specific questions about their specialties. This is a great opportunity for current BCS students and families to meet their teacher for next year, too.

 

Race is also coming up on Friday, May 18^th. We need some help with our local business donations. Please contact Kelly Cudicio at kcudicio@bethanychristian.org if you can help. New this year will be a preview evening on Thursday, May 17^th from 5:00-8:00pm. The Silent Auction will be open for bids and Buzz Tyson will have his delicious, famous chicken dinners available for purchase. On Race Day, the Silent Auction will be open from 9-noon, we will have a live auction for the Class Baskets, and McCormick Orthodontics will sponsor a fun Ice Cream Social after the Race Awards are over.
